With winter fast approaching and minds turning towards long evenings spent in warm, cosy homes, the team at Kingfisher invite you to attend their Winter Warmer Charity Event on 14th November from 3pm-8pm.

Hoping to repeat the success of their charity Coffee Morning held in 2017, which raised over £1,000 for the Macmillan and Children’s Hospice South West charities, Kingfisher are once again throwing open the doors at their East Brent showroom to raise much needed funds for these wonderful charities whilst showcasing their fabulous range of products.

And as before, 100% of the proceeds from the event will be going directly to the two charities.

The well-known local folk group Magenta will be playing a selection of songs to help get everyone in the festive mood whilst enjoying mulled cider provided by Thatcher’s Cider. With tea and coffee also available, there’s something for everyone!

There will be a variety of stalls at the event, including Christmas cards and gifts from our two charities, bric-a-brac and a raffle with wonderful prizes donated by our suppliers. Our Christmas Cracker stall will also be running, where every cracker sold wins a prize.

If you have a sweet tooth there will also be cakes and other sweet treats made and donated by all Kingfisher staff including our fitters and there will be a children’s colouring competition.

Kingfisher Sales Director Angie Hicks said, “We were overwhelmed by the support we received for our coffee morning last year and hope that customers old and new will join us this year.”

“We are really excited about the event as we love to catch up with customers and friends. Coming together to celebrate such great causes is a lovely way to keep in touch,” she continued

If the windows and doors at your home are in need of some love and attention, why not come along and see what Kingfisher have to offer?

With discount vouchers available at the Winter Warmer event for anyone that goes ahead with placing orders in December you too could have a warm and cosy home this winter!

In addition, any orders that are received for £1,500 or more will be rewarded with a hamper of 12 bottles of wine.

We hope you can join us on 14th November for what promises to be a wonderful celebration of our local charities.
